Here’s how to install them:
- Thoroughly clean surface of door panel. The cleaner your surface, the better the application.
- Apply your magnetic door hinges above or below the seam of the door panel. Sometimes we get caught up in the design, but remember, those seams are there to fold when the garage door opens, so if your decorative hinges are placed there… they probably won’t be there for long.
- DO NOT apply magnetic door hinge under weather-stripping. Again, for obvious reasons, right?
- To reposition, remove the magnet completely, then reapply beginning with step 1.
