Front Door Hinges - Back Door Hinges - Exterior

The hinges you need to purchase for your front door or back door are typically different than the hinges you need to purchase for the rest of the rooms in your house.  These doors are considered exterior doors and will usually be between 1 5/8" and 1 3/4" thick.  Most exterior front doors or back doors will have one of the following hinge sizes installed on it:  4" Square, 4" with 5/8" Radius Corner, 4" with 1/4" Radius Corner, or 4" with 5/8" Square Radius Corner.  We always recommend that you purchase ball bearing hinges for your exterior doors to reduce friction.  For additional help deciding on the right hinges for your home, please read out blog on how to select the right door hinges for your home.  If you are looking for specific brands of hinges, we do carry the High-End Baldwin Line of hinges for your front doors as well as the Penrod Line of hinges.
