The WEDGE-IT is a compact door stop that was designed by Emergency Service Personnel to hold doors open to a 90 degree angle. The Wedge-It can be placed in any of 3-different locations (top, middle, or bottom) of a door. How it Works: The Wedge-It is designed to hold an interior or exterior door open to a 90 degree angle. It can be placed in any of 3 locations on a door:

Locations on the Door:

Top of the Door: With door open to a 90 degree angle place the Wedge-It on top of the door between door and door jamb. The Wedge-It is designed with 4 different settings to fit between the top of the door and the door jamb (see below). This is because that distance varies between doors.

Over the Hinge Pin: With door open to a 90 degree angle place the Wedge-It over hinge between the door and the door jamb.

On the Floor: The Wedge-It can be used rubber pad side down on the floor like a traditional wooden or rubber door stop.

Bottom of Doors with Larger Gap: If the gap at the bottom of the door is greater than 2 inches, placement of the Wedge-It in a vertical position could / would hold the door open. *Placement and success of the Wedge-It doorstop is dependent upon the door. 

Holding a Door Open at any Angle: One Wedge-It can be placed at the end of the door or 2 Wedge-Its can be placed on either side of the door to keep it open at varying angles. *This placement and success of the Wedge-It is dependent upon the door.

We want you to love your hinges and hardware.  If you're not 100% satisfied with the quality or performance of your purchase, return it for a full refund within 45 days.  Depending on the Return Reason selected, the return shipping amount may be deducted from your return.  There are no returns allowed on installed hardware or used products.

Keep it in the box:

When possible, please keep the hinges and hardware in the box which it came in.  If you have used the product, please include all of the screws and hardware that came with your purchase.

Key items to note about your return:

• Please allow 14 business days for us to process returns.
• All returns must come back to us in sellable condition or you will not receive a refund.  If there is a way for us to repackage and resell, a restocking fee may apply.
• Depending on the return reason you select, you may not get a refund for your shipping costs.  If you selected free shipping, the shipping fee will be deducted from your return if the product was ordered incorrectly by you.

Clearance items:

Exchanges:

We do offer exchanges of your hinges and hardware if you ordered the wrong size or finish.  If you would like to exchange an item we recommend selecting store credit during the return process. Store credit is issued directly to your Hinge Outlet account upon receipt of your return.

Shipping Policy
All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday thru Friday.  Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail or United Parcel Service and usually take 2-3 business days for delivery.  Overnight shipments are available.  Please contact us for pricing.

We can ship internationally beyond Canada.  We will need to determine the shipping costs at the time of purchase as they vary widely.
