Gate Latch - Ponderosa Gate Thumb Latch with Matching Pull - Multiple Finishes Available - Sold as Set

These Ponderosa Gate Thumb Latch Kits include a matching pull. They are made of solid forged steel, are for gates up to 2-1/4" or 3-1/2" thick, and are available in Matte Black Powder Coat and Matte Bronze Powder Coat finishes.

Installation

The following steps, Illustrations and pictures will help with installation of our  Ponderosa thumb gate latches 

These steps are furnished as a general guide only and may not apply to your application.

Step 1.  Drill a 1 1/8" diameter hole
              ( a slot that is 3/8" wide x 1 1/4" high will also work well) (illustration 1)

Step 2. Mount the handle portion with the Thumb Bar protruding through and resting on the bottom of the  hole (or slot) in gate.  (illustration 2 and picture 2)

Step 3. Mount the "Staple" with the thumb bar protruding through and letting the Thumb Bar rest on bottom of slot in Staple.  (illustration 3)

Step 4. Mount Latch Bar allowing latch bar to rest on top of Thumb Bar.  (illustration 3)

Step 5. Mount Strike Catch allowing for latch bar to strike at the upper rounded portion of the strike catch.  This insures the striking will allow for the Latch Bar to ride up and over the Strike Catch. (See Picture 3)

Keep it in the box:

When possible, please keep the hinges and hardware in the box which it came in.  If you have used the product, please include all of the screws and hardware that came with your purchase.

• Please allow 14 business days for us to process returns.
• All returns must come back to us in sellable condition or you will not receive a refund.  If there is a way for us to repackage and resell, a restocking fee may apply.
• Depending on the return reason you select, you may not get a refund for your shipping costs.  If you selected free shipping, the shipping fee will be deducted from your return if the product was ordered incorrectly by you.

Exchanges:

We do offer exchanges of your hinges and hardware if you ordered the wrong size or finish.  If you would like to exchange an item we recommend selecting store credit during the return process. Store credit is issued directly to your Hinge Outlet account upon receipt of your return.

Shipping Policy
All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday thru Friday.  Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail or United Parcel Service and usually take 2-3 business days for delivery.  Overnight shipments are available.  Please contact us for pricing.
