• The spindle connects levers on both sides of gate; just turn the lever
• Features hand hammered edges to give it the rustic look it
• Spring tension keeps latch bar engaged
• Backplate size: 6" x 4" (1/4" thick)
• The throw is a generous 2" to allow for wider gaps and expansion and contraction
• Latch side is solid forged iron - handle is solid iron

Installation Instructions:

• Easy to install; only one small hole needed for the spindle to pass through.
• The large back plate side is always on the side that pulls towards you.
• The gate has to always swing in on the side of the larger face plate.

NOTE: It is recommended that you install gate stops to prevent "swing thru" which can damage the gate latch.

Keep it in the box:

When possible, please keep the hinges and hardware in the box which it came in.  If you have used the product, please include all of the screws and hardware that came with your purchase.

Key items to note about your return:

• Please allow 14 business days for us to process returns.
• All returns must come back to us in sellable condition or you will not receive a refund.  If there is a way for us to repackage and resell, a restocking fee may apply.
• Depending on the return reason you select, you may not get a refund for your shipping costs.  If you selected free shipping, the shipping fee will be deducted from your return if the product was ordered incorrectly by you.

Clearance items:

Exchanges:

We do offer exchanges of your hinges and hardware if you ordered the wrong size or finish.  If you would like to exchange an item we recommend selecting store credit during the return process. Store credit is issued directly to your Hinge Outlet account upon receipt of your return.

Shipping Policy
All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday thru Friday.  Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail or United Parcel Service and usually take 2-3 business days for delivery.  Overnight shipments are available.  Please contact us for pricing.

We can ship internationally beyond Canada.  We will need to determine the shipping costs at the time of purchase as they vary widely.

We will not be responsible for any duties and/or brokerage fees.  Those are the customers' obligations.  We generally ship UPS but may use US International Priority Mail as an alternative.
