Door Hinge Shims helps prevent future problems such as the need to plane the door and costly refinishing work.  For more severe gaps, Hinge Shims are designed to fold into a "z" pattern creating a triple thick shim. Hinge Shims are slightly wedge shaped as well, allowing additional control during installation or simple door gap correction.  They are also ideal for the steel doors & jambs commonly found in hotels, offices and modern commercial buildings.

Each shim moves the hinge pin 1/16" and that means that Hinge Shims are ideal for places where a thin shim is needed. Cabinet installation, hardwood floor repair, a sub floor adjustment, hobbies & crafts are just a few of the tasks that call for a thinner shim.

Keep it in the box:

When possible, please keep the hinges and hardware in the box which it came in.  If you have used the product, please include all of the screws and hardware that came with your purchase.

Key items to note about your return:

• Please allow 14 business days for us to process returns.
• All returns must come back to us in sellable condition or you will not receive a refund.  If there is a way for us to repackage and resell, a restocking fee may apply.
• Depending on the return reason you select, you may not get a refund for your shipping costs.  If you selected free shipping, the shipping fee will be deducted from your return if the product was ordered incorrectly by you.

Exchanges:

We do offer exchanges of your hinges and hardware if you ordered the wrong size or finish.  If you would like to exchange an item we recommend selecting store credit during the return process. Store credit is issued directly to your Hinge Outlet account upon receipt of your return.

Shipping Policy
All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday thru Friday.  Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail or United Parcel Service and usually take 2-3 business days for delivery.  Overnight shipments are available.  Please contact us for pricing.
