Double action spring hinges allow a door to open 180 degrees in either direction. The spring action returns door to center closed position. These hinges are great for any door you want to walk through in both directions and have the door come back to center automatically. Restaurants, bars, and even many homes install these hinges for the closing application in both directions.
Our recommendation for installation is placing 2 hinges up near the top of the door and one near the bottom. The Double Action Installation Instructions highlight the recommended placement of these.
